Suddenly, Auaki teleported himself in Omelas, a distant world that could feel very familiar in a symbolic way. Omelas seemed perfect, for you have the freedom to make it whatever you want, whatever is ideal on your end. What is more, all people in Omelas are undoubtedly happy, free from guilt and free to believe in something greater - a religion. There are no temples in Omelas because temples tell you how to think and who to worship. Auaki felt strange, identifying that something terrible is about to review itself, and that began to make him want to teleport again. Indeed, Auaki was right. The people of Omelas have a secret. A secret more-significant for some than others. For years the people of Omelas kept a child locked in a dark basement. The child knew the world outside the basement yet from the years of detachment he or she was unable to lip with the others. Auaki recognized the feeling he felt in Omelas, and that made him want to go and see the child. Auaki became aware of his reality and the degree he can modify it, as well of the reality which encompasses his among many others. Aukai went to see the child, he tried to talk with no result, left a glass of water and left for the streets outside Omelas teleporting away from that world of Dystopia to one with more Utopian qualities. This story felt unreal, and Auaki had to go back to his recollections of thoughts, time and time again to make sense of the symbolism behind. It made him think about better ways a society could function and what would feel like if we all find better ways, pushing us away from the dark basement rooms of our everyday lives. Aukai left Omelas encouraged by all the possibilities of the next life despite the constant shadow of that terrible feeling.
